Darrel and Vera Carson were baptized on July 18, 2021. Here are their brief accounts:
Vera says:
July 18, 2021, is a day we will never forget. Darrel and I were baptized in the Sprague River at the same time. We were holding hands; Pastor Steve baptized Darrel, and Pastor Ron baptized me in unison. Having been raised in the Adventist Church, we had both been baptized into Adventism. We even went so far as to be re-baptized during our Adventist years. But God had another plan. He led us through many trials, but in the end He brought us home to Him. What rejoicing when even one lost sheep comes home! Thank you Jesus; we are finally home in the fold of God.
Darrel remembers:
Our baptism has been in God’s plan from the dawn of time. In my life, I see evidence of this fact. God first brought Pastor Steve into my life in 2013 via YouTube. In the fall of 2019, I ended up in his office because of a YouTube video about a stove. There in that little room, I heard—I mean truly heard—and listened to the Gospel for the very first time in my life! Back in 2013 when I first watched his video about his portable sawmill, I had no idea that this man would one day baptize me. I praise God for the fact that we have always been in His plan.
