Where do listeners live?

Even though I have written to you a few times, I have never disclosed my nationality. On Fridays my wife, an Adventist, likes to watch Hope Sabbath School, and they like to mention where participants are from. My initial  thought was that it could be good for you to mention in your podcasts where your listeners live. With regards to my nationality, I originate from the Unite Kingdom, and I am of Jamaican descent where, sadly, there a lot of Adventist churches.

Response: Thank you for the suggestion! We have listeners from all over…most are in North America, but we have people following the podcast in Australia, the UK, Europe, Africa, and even Asia. The Lord is calling His sheep out of the darkness! And yes, Jamaica has many Adventists.

Inspiring stories

I’m thanking God for good health and am praying for you. The stories in Proclamation! are always inspiring.

Blessings and love.

Former colleague eager to hear Phil Johnson

I am looking forward to the conference. My mom (in her 80s) is an Adventist in the midwest. When we all left the Catholic Church in the 1980s—after my folks divorced—she went to Adventism. The Lord saved me at college…It’s nice that Phil Johnson is the speaker. We attended his fellowship group at Grace Church for a number of years…

I have read Proclamation! on and off over the years and recently have been binging on YouTube videos of Colleen, Dale, Paul, and others, as well as your podcast. I’m making new in-roads with my mom, and your content is helping me zero in on the key issues: the Investigative Judgment, the authority of Ellen White, and Sabbath-keeping.

Response: I don’t know whether or not you’ve seen this article, but it might help you with an overview of the Adventist worldview which underlies and defines their “reality”. What Is Seventh-day Adventism? Understanding the worldview helps one “see” the subtle but profound nuances that hide inside Adventist-speak. I’ve also signed you up for our weekly Proclamation! emails . They come every Friday morning with new material, the Lord willing! If you wish not to receive them, just unsubscribe.
