Weak Adventist Jesus
The way this week’s Sabbath School lesson handles the talk between Jesus and the devil in the account of the demoniac is just outrageous! It reduces the entire encounter to just a competition (the great controversy) and belittles Jesus!
Then, when He brought the little girl back to life, the lesson does the same belittling, as if Jesus is just into keeping secrets.
From this lesson and from Facebook interactions I have with Adventists, I see blatantly displayed the idea that Jesus was really not much more than we are, and if we try really, really hard, we just might be like Him.
Sometimes it makes me want to cry, realizing how they perceive Him as all human and little or no Divine.

Response: Yes, it makes me want to cry as well. It’s very hard to pin down and identify the fact that the Adventist Jesus is weak and fallible, that Adventist individuals do not see Him as God in spite of the fact they think they do! But their discussions and thought processes reveal the truth: their Jesus is NOT almighty God. He’s just their relentless example…
Response to Jesus’ Judgments
You were never an Adventist.

Response: Those who have responded to you speak the truth. I was very Adventist, but the Lord Jesus showed me who He is and what He really did! Adventism fits Paul’s warning in Galatians 1 and 2 Corinthians 11 about people who receive false teachings even from angels of light. EGW was the recipient of hundreds of visions and dreams led by angels and spirits that were not our Lord Jesus, and she taught a version of reality that is completely false. I challenge you to study for yourself—and begin by reading Galatians every day for a month, asking the Lord to teach you what He knows He wants you to know.
Response to Insider Interview: Dr. Gary Inrig
So, Colleen, are you a Redeemer Fellowship member? You believe in an eternal burning hell? That belief has driven more people from God than any other. It is also unbilical, but you already know that.
Response by Jim Liley, FAF Youtube moderator: Belief in an eternal burning hell is a second tier belief and should not be an issue with other fellow believers in their fellowship with each other. †
