Summer Tour of Encouragement & Other Updates

To our friends:

We thank you for your prayers, encouraging letters, emails and your book orders. We have several things to bring to your attention.

Summer Tour of Encouragement to Northwest

Carolyn and I are planning another Tour of Encouragement this summer. We plan to leave Arizona near the end of June or first of July and return sometime in September. We will not be giving exact dates for our stops until about a week out. Tentative stops (in planned order) include Rexburg Idaho; Calgary Canada; Fairbanks and Anchorage Alaska; Vancouver and Walla Walla Washington; Scappoose  and Reedsport Oregon; Paradise, Morgan Hill and Redlands California. Dale is prepared to give His presentations on “A Comparison between Adventism and Evangelical Christianity”,” Sabbath in Christ” or a gospel message. Presentations could be given at your church or home group. Some of our readers may want to host a home group and invite others for a Bible study or a Q & A time. If you are not too far from our proposed route we may be able to include your group. If you would like to attend or schedule a meeting, please call or text Dale at 623-377-3090 so we can keep you informed of our schedule. We will be in our 5th wheel trailer. Please pray for our health, safety and God’s provision.

Bookstore to close for summer

If you wish to purchase any books before we leave, please do so right away! Some of our books may be available elsewhere by an internet search.

Two good books

I just finished reading two excellent books. The first is, The Christian “in Christ”—An Introduction to “In Christ” Truth, The Believer’s Position and Possessions in Christ, by David K Spurbeck Sr., Know to Grow “In Christ” Publications, Forest Grove, Oregon. When we fully know and live in our position “in Christ” we have victory in our lives. I found this to be a very encouraging, gospel-centered study.

The second is How Will You Measure Your Life? By Clayton M. Christensen (Amazon). This is written by a professor at the Harvard Business School. He lays out a number of predictive theories for business decisions and then insightfully applies them to life and family. I wish I had read this book years ago, but it did not exist until now.

I guarantee you will be blessed by reading both books.

Three Ebooks now on internet

Thanks to Ben Campomanes for helping us get our books set up for ebooks. Truth about Adventist “Truth”, Truth Led Me Out,and Cultic Doctrine are now on Amazon. It may take a few days for the search engines to find them.

Keep LAM, Inc. in your prayers

As a member of LAM, Inc. board I wish to thank you for your support of Proclamation! God is using this ministry in powerful ways. In addition to the many letters and emails we receive thanking us for this ministry; we have received communication from Evangelical pastors stating that Proclamation! is one of the best and most helpful journals available anywhere. Richard and Colleen are doing an excellent job in editing and designing this valuable gospel-centered journal. Continue to pray those of us who study, write, speak, edit, design, proof, manage the database and answer emails and letters. Every issue is a faith ministry. We continue to trust that God will provide, and through you He has for the last 12 years. We recognize that many of our readers are in difficult financial situations. We pray that God will provide for these needs as well as ours. We believe He will.

In His joy,

Dale Ratzlaff

  1. The bible says the new covenant is the law of God that was written in STONE is now written on our hearts – the Ten Commandments – and remain in effect for all mankind and are to be kept by “Israel of the spirit” – true Christians – including the fourth commandment. Knowing this, there is really no truthful reason for your “ministry” to exist – being contrary to the gospel.
